Since my hubby friends knew that he’s good friend getting married to a Filipina woman from the farthest place or let me say half of the world. He decided to buy a lovely rice cooker as a gift on our wedding and which is common and popular machine in the Philippines to make rice.

Anyhow guys, let me tell you how excited I was when I found the rice cooker. When I was unwrapping our gift on our wedding day and spotted this lovely rice cooker I was almost cried “Tears of joy” hehehe!. As for me it was the most greatest ever gift we’ve got on our wedding day. I knew we’ve got various gift but as for me it was the best one I really like so much as I can use it everyday to make rice and much more. Honestly, I was full of excitement that time, and I was so excited to come home and start to make rice hahaha!. Too much excited guys… as I really miss cooking rice, because when the time we don’t have rice cooker yet I only eat cucumber salad lol!

Love notes from my wonderful dearest hubby

Well my love the time has come which I and you are back to correspondence. The best part of this letter is it the start of the process for us to be together forever. I fell like I am living some sort of fairytale. The idea that 3 weeks ago I was living on pure faith. Now we have shared something for greater. love passion and wonderful memories have been created. I don't know if everyone is quites as fortunates as us but I can only hope that each person is given an opportunity likes ours. I would love to simply write how much I have fallen in love with YOU but each time I reflect that we are on opposite sides of the planet I feel sadness tear threw my heart and I am sitting in the Northwest Lounge surrounded by random travelers which keeps starring at me (Freaking bastard!!!). It must be quite the sight same bald guy writing frantically on a notepad smiling, laughing and crying (pasaway lalaki).

By now I suspect you're completed the trip back to Tacloban City. My jouorney has merely started. My first of 3 legs from Manila to Nagoya (4hours), next comes the long leg Nagoya to Minneapolis Minnesota (11hours) of course this starts after 3 hours layover, then finally Minneapolis Minnesota to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania (2hours) this again has 2:30 layover. This try is far faster than the journey to Manila. Not to mention there was a bit of anxiety with coming to see you:-). Which is merely a distant memory subdued by all of our remarkable experiences together...

So time for a funny story from leg one to the journey. I was comfortably settled in my seat on the airplane when on comes a gay "Patrick" who might I add BEER MUST LOVE HIM... as he dwarfed me by at least 50kg. So much for shoulder room (hehe). Anyway him and I started to chat and we talked about you of course. I sounded like a kid as I raved about you and your family as if you were the newest and coolest toy ever created. He smiled and said "Erick hold on to her you found something special". I fee as if I'm transparent to the word when I speaks to our life's. I should just have a tattoo put on my head that says... "ERICK LOVES CHERRYL". It would make conversations so much easier...

So what is in store for us? I still wonder how you will adopt to the cold weather in Pennsylvania? Will we just stay in bed all the time and snuggle. Rarely to stay warm. Sounds wonderful to me. Well my love I am off to find my aircraft and commence leg 2. More to come my asawa.

Well home safe and sound...

Love you and miss you

P.S I can't wait until you arrive here in the US we can get married and start our lives. Love always Erick.XOXO

When the time I work with her, I was a little bit awkward to get a long with her because everybody hates her. Everybody thinks that she is grumpy woman and noisy. Although everybody thinks negatively towards her, but me I always keep in my mind to think positively because as I believe we are not completely perfect.

The most famous and national fish in the Philippines "Bangus or Milk fish"

The most famous fish in the Philippines name "Bangus" in Filipino language, translated to English word "Milk fish". Beside of being famous this also our national fish in my country. It grows or lives in the farm as well as in the sea. Why we called Milk fish? Simply! it taste milky, but bony though. This is really good in grill, fried, tinola or soup, paksiw hmmm... I forget the translation let me tell you what the ingredients are for Paksiw this way you can easily understand it. A little bit amounts of vinegar, fresh ginger and onions, salt and you can also add seasoning seafood to make it more yummy and tasty.

We've bought this milky fish at Asian store at Monroeville a month ago, my hubby and I visited to our favorites Asian store for the 3rd times and that was our second time we bought the "bangus" and that's store owned by Korean girl a pretty lady with pretty smile and friendly. And do you know this milk fish was really came from in Sarangani Bay Philippines which is the most famous farm of national fish? Well it really is, and I only find out when I read the message written on the plastic bag. Is not cool and interesting? Hmmm... As we all know Philippines is an export of milk fish. Anyhow, I would like to share these pictures I took when I cooked my smoke milk fish 2 weeks ago. The fish it wasn't fresh anymore... just imagine it travel across the world, well that's pretty obvious hahaha!

This is my very simple and easy recipe of smoke fish. But before that clean the belly of the milk fish first and make it sure you remove the entire intestine particularly the green one hmmm... I forget the name of it again grrr! As long as you can see the green color just remove it and you will be alright then hehehe!. And here are the ingredients I put in the belly of milk fish, fresh tomato, onion, garlic, and seafood seasoning, all you have to do is just combine them together and put it inside in the belly of the milk fish. If you think the belly is already full, wrap it using the aluminum foil and place it on the grill.

It takes a little bit longer before it cook, but you need to check it once in a while to make it sure the whole part of the fish turn brown. If the other side of the fish it looks cook flip it over that way the other side will cook too. Thank you for reading my palatable recipe... this is the favorite dish of my hubby. If you want to ask me how it tastes, well try it and it will tell you hehehe! Enjoy and have fun my dear readers!.
